Ashleigh McMichael
Forestry Technician
Ashleigh joined the Kansas Forest Service in the fall of 2023 as a forestry technician team member. Originally native to Iowa, Ashleigh moved to Kansas in 2019 to pursue a degree in Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Management from Kansas State University. She received
her bachelor’s degree in December of 2022. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Adult Learning in Leadership from Kansas State University. Ashleigh loves to learn and educate others while also exploring the new parts of Kansas!
In her free time Ashleigh enjoys vacationing in Colorado, showing cattle, playing with her dog, and relaxing while watching the newest series on Netflix with her husband.
